At the beginning of the year, I was looking ahead to our trips this year and realized that many of trips were going to be sort of outdoor adventure type trips. The first being our travels to Northern Arizona and Antelope Canyon, and I knew I would need appropriate attire. With other trips like Machu Picchu and Eastern Oregon coming up as well, I needed to invest in some good clothes and shoes for those trips. So I ordered a pair of hiking boots and some other items that will be good for all of those upcoming trips. For Northern Arizona specifically, we had drastic changes in temperatures, from low 30’s to high 70’s each day so layers were key. I also wanted neutral colors to blend in with the feel of the high desert so I opted for browns, tans and greens for the majority of my wardrobe while there.
