Check in – We arrived late Friday evening and my only complaint at check in was that the valet was super busy and backed up and it took us a while to be able to pull up and drop our car off. Otherwise, check in was really quick and easy in the lobby.

Room – The rooms are fairly plain but with quirky, fun touches like graphics on the walls and windows. The size was nice though, with lots of room to move around and have luggage out.

Bathroom – The bathroom was pretty standard, no complaints. I liked their shower a lot though as a secondary note.
Design – I felt like the design was a little bland to be honest, but it did work well in the neutral palette they chose. While I didn’t feel like the design was amazing or really worth commenting on, it wasn’t unpleasant.
Overall Impressions – I liked this hotel, it had good service and an excellent location right on Sunset that was convenient for us driving around the area. The room was comfortable and the hotel kept up well. There is also a cool rooftop pool and lounge area which we used Saturday evening and really enjoyed. I’d totally stay here again!

I’ve been hearing a lot of great things about the Andaz chain but haven’t stayed in one yet. Sounds like they’re good quality overall for the price, though, so I’ll keep them in mind!

Yea overall I liked the brand. It’s really modern and hip, which I like in the hotel!
