I’ve consolidated the places I would recommend from my trips to Ireland here with everything I loved, didn’t love and would suggest.
Dublin
Westbury Hotel
Balfe St, Dublin 2, Ireland
Loved the large room and bathroom, beautiful elegant design, early check-in, and amazing location right in the city center
Didn’t love that no one was there when we arrived via taxi at the entrance – the hotel is a story up and no one was there to tell us how to go up to the lobby from the street side
Know that this hotel is a little pricier but the location is spectacular for a visit to Dublin
Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin
Dean St, The Liberties, Dublin, D08 W3X7, Ireland
Loved the cool design, great service, good size rooms, and oat milk lattes available in the lobby bar
Didn’t love the location as it’s a little outside the city center and takes longer to walk to the main places you’ll want to see in Dublin but it is close to the Guinness Factory
Know that this hotel is a good option if you are ok walking further and want to save a little money
County Kilkenny
Mount Juliet Estate
Estate, Mount Juliet, Co. Kilkenny, R95 E096, Ireland
Loved the comfortable beds, the beautiful decor, the grand estate, amazing service and price point for what you get
Didn’t love anything! We loved our stay here.
Know to rent the hotel bikes and explore the property especially going to see the horses
Athlone
Sheraton Athlone
Gleeson St, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland
Loved the modern design, location in the city center, good hotel restaurant and connects to the mall next door
Didn’t love anything! We had a great stay here.
Know that the hotel has it’s own area of the mall parking garage and will validate your parking upon check out
