Know that the entrance to the hotel comes up quick off Highway 101 so be ready for the turn when it comes

Know that valet parking is the easiest option for parking in Seattle and will be around $40 per night

Know that this is a Kimpton hotel which is dog-friendly and ask for a corner room overlooking the Seattle library
The Hotel Max Seattle

Know that you’ll have parking charges to valet your car and the rooms can be small here since it’s an old building
Salish Lodge and Spa

Loved the beautiful rooms, the holiday decor, easy drive from Seattle, and that valet parking was included in the overnight stay
Didn’t love that the restaurant was already fully booked when we arrived and that there isn’t much around this hotel
Know that you’ll need to make a restaurant reservation a while in advance to eat at the hotel during your stay
Eastern Washington
Desert Wind Winery

Know that it’s about an hour drive from LAX to get here but it’s way easier to fly into Burbank Airport
Andaz West Hollywood

Didn’t love that the valet was pretty backed up when we arrived and it took a while to park our car
Know that it’s pretty convenient to explore LA from this location

Shoreline Hotel

Loved the cool updated design and the amazing location within walking distance to everything in Waikiki
Didn’t love that the hotel is a little worn down, even after the remodel, and still feels a bit old and the pool was really small
Know that if you don’t want to spend a large amount on a resort hotel, this is a good one for a night in Waikiki at a cheaper price point
Kauai
Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu Beach

Didn’t love maintenance issues in our room that hadn’t been done before check in, apartment building feel, high prices, and not great food at hotel restaurants
Know that there is easy parking and this would be a good spot for families with kids that want to utilize the resort spaces

Know that it’s fairly easy to explore Boston from this location and see the city, but might be better for a one night stopover instead of multiple days

The Darcy DC

Didn’t love the extra resort fee charged at check out
Know that this hotel is a little more in a local area than the downtown DC tourist spots, but it’s still walkable and close to everything in the city
New York City

Didn’t love how tiny the room was, while efficient, it was still small
Know that it’s close to Penn Station where you can take the train in from Newark and close to a few subway lines to get around NYC, plus easy to access most neighborhoods on foot with a 20-30 minute walk
Arlo Midtown

Didn’t love the specific location, and while we like to stay in Midtown, this felt just a bit off the beaten path
Know that it’s close to Penn Station where you can take the train in from Newark and easily walkable from there with luggage

Didn’t love that the design needs an update and even though it’s a newer hotel, it seemed rough around the edges
Know that this feels a bit more like a boutique hotel among the huge hotels in Vegas
The Paris Las Vegas

Loved the the renovated comfortable rooms, amazing restaurants on site, quiet room, and great location on the Strip
Didn’t love that there are no interior connections to other hotels like some others have and you have to leave the hotel to go anywhere else
Know that while the Parisian theme is a little cheesy, it’s kind of fun to really get into it here.
The Vdara Hotel and Spa
