On our last day in DC, our flight didn’t leave until 7pm and with an extremely hot and humid day on the horizon, we decided to escape to the water and spend a few hours in Annapolis, Maryland.  We’d never been before and it was the perfect day trip out of DC to get a slightly cooler breeze off the Chesapeake Bay while roaming around the cute shops and restaurants of Annapolis.  This little harbor town was filled to the brim with people so we roamed a bit, then sat down at a water-side restaurant and enjoyed lobster and crab cakes to make our day trip to Annapolis the perfect end to our week in DC!
